Audi and Best Buddies Canada
Best Buddies – Vrais Copains Canada is a national charitable organization dedicated to enhancing communities through one-to-one friendships between individuals with intellectual disabilities and students. Best Buddies is grounded in the belief that friendship is important to the development of all individuals and that for all individuals with intellectual disabilities friendship is a medium through which they can become a part of their communities.
Audi Canada is proud to be the official automotive partner of Best Buddies and supporter of its programs and fundraising initiatives. "Audi's association with Best Buddies International is a testament to our company's core value of social responsibility" says Audi Canada President and CEO Martin Sander. "Supporting the Best Buddies program in Canada is a unique opportunity for us and we hope to be instrumental in helping Best Buddies expand its mission of friendship and inclusion both in Canada and around the globe."
A great way to support the cause is to run in the Audi Best Buddies Challenge that will take place on Sunday, October 24 2010 in Toronto. Many prizes will be up for grab including:
- 10KM Grand Prize: The use of two Audi's over a one year period - one A5 cabriolet and one Audi Q5
- 5KM Grand Prize: An 'Audi for All-Seasons' – use of an New Audi for one week each season over a one year period
- 1KM Grand Price: to be confirmed
- Random draws for finishers of all events will be provided.
